A brief story about the paintings in our office reception area.
This past month The Sacramento Art Deco Society presented a lecture by historian Bruce Marwick, who painstakingly researched and investigated the lives of three prominent artisans of California history who lived and worked in Sacramento from the 1920s to the 1940s. Dr Werts’s grand uncle, Alfred Eichler, whose watercolors are hanging in the office reception room, was among the three.
“Uncle Alfie” was a California State Architect who designed dozens of structures including the Tower Bridge crossing the Sacrament River.
