To summarize these trips, to be able to go on medical missions is a privilege and an honor. The amount that we can contribute is so small relative to the degree of need we encounter. Yet, we leave our families, take time out of our careers, and travel great distances to give of ourselves to those who are less fortunate. For those whose lives we touch, we go in hopes of offering some degree of love, care, and kindness, to let them know the world has not forgotten them. In return, every patient gives us their love and sincerest gratitude.
